Dermot Fahy is a corrupt accountant whose current whereabouts are unknown, although he was born and bred in Carrigstown, Ireland. He worked as a corrupt accountant, cooking the books for billionaire Paul Brennan. His son, Ben, failed Irish in his Junior Cert, describing the paper as "challenging".

Dermot was previously considered for a role as CEO of the FAI but lost out to John Delaney. Dermot's wife left him in 2012 to join The Tommy Dillon Club. Dermot's life spiraled out of control after that and he became a regular punter in Cathal Spillane's brothel. After horrific allegations were made against him by young immigrant, Ama Chisenga, Dermot fled Carrigstown. Bob Charles described Dermot actions "as a disgrace to our community and that Carrigstown will be a much better place without him".
