The Proud Boys of Carrigstown are a political party in the Carrigstown community set up to protect traditions and culture in the area. It is considered a center-right conservative party which states heritage, housing and reunification as its primary areas of interest. The group consists of Oisin Brennan, Paul Brennan, Ray O'Connell, Tommy Dillon, Leo Dowling, Xavier Bishop, Barry O'Hanlon and more.

Carrigstown Wikipedia[edit | edit source]

In January 2020, The Proud Boys of Carrigstown announced the creation of this Wikipedia, titled "Fair City". The goal of this Wikipedia was to provide real and accurate information on events which occur within the community, both past and present, and to help quash "Fake News" which Oisin Brennan describes as a stain on the good will and integrity of Carrigstown.

Funding[edit | edit source]

The Proud Boys of Carrigstown receive their funding from several anonymous American donors and from regular prestigious events held at Brennan's Hotel in Malibu. These events raise large sums of money which is used to fund a variety of things relating to the group. Other notable donors include Xavier Bishop, who is currently living in Spain and has been making regular donations in Bitcoin and Monero, and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. Paul Brennan himself donates a large sum of money from the Brennan Clan's fortune of whom he is the treasurer.

In February 2021, Paul Brennan announced that he was making an emergency fund to the tune of €5.3 million available to continue the Carrigstown: Exposed YouTube series. The following week an emergency bulletin was published, exposing the disappearance of local homosexual Cristiano San Martin. Oisin Brennan accused Bob Charles of disposing of the homosexual after he no longer deemed him to be a useful pawn for further pushing the Carrigstown Agenda.

In March 2021, a sum to the tune of €1.9 million was donated to the Proud Boys of Carrigstown by an anonymous donor, speculated to be Gavin McInnes who founded the international Proud Boys movement and is a close friend of Paul Brennan.

Expenditure[edit | edit source]

The Proud Boys of Carrigstown spend money on a variety of things relating to the group and their associated vision. Regular outings are organized for senior members of the group, including meetings at The Hungry Pig, McCoy's pub and several visits to Rachel Brennan's Michelin star restaurant in Spain. The money also goes towards The Paul Brennan Hush Money Fund, which is used to settle court cases and to pay for court injunctions against the publication of controversial material relating to the group. It has notably been used to pay off Jane Black and several other women, with whom Paul Brennan has had sexual relations and wishes for it not to be published in the media.

Paul Brennan vehemently denies the existence of such a fund; claiming it is propaganda originating from Bob Charles in an attempt to sabotage the growing movement of Proud Boys in Carrigstown. Paul claims the bulk of the Proud Boys expenditure goes towards investigative journalism; including the unearthing of The Orla and Wayne Surrogate Fiasco 2019. Further funding is spent on the online YouTube series Carrigstown: Exposed. It was noted by Pete Ferguson that a large portion of funds was transferred to an offshore account in Seychelles after he audited the 2020 accounts.

A sum in excess of €2 million was donated by The Proud Boys of Carrigstown in March 2021 to a legal fund in support of anti-lockdown protestors who were arrested while protesting in the capital city that month. Protestors were charged with misdemeanors for their protest, with Oisin Brennan describing this as anti-democratic and a shambles. A core member of The Proud Boys of Carrigstown was also arrested at this protest. However, despite no official statement being made by The Proud Boys regarding the identity of this member, it was speculated by Bob Charles in his blog Climate, Politics and Humour, that Leo Dowling was the mystery Proud Boys member who was arrested at these protests.

Ideology and policies[edit | edit source]

The Proud Boys of Carrigstown maintain a strong two gender stance. This is referred to as the 'binary rule'. It's been well documented that Proud Boys members have publicly humiliated vulnerable ladies man Damien Halpin for his election to use the pronouns she/her. Paul Brennan referred to Damien as the single greatest disgrace to ever step foot on Carrigstown soil.

The group also maintains an anti-lockdown stance; believing that the harm to the economy, increase in suicide rates among other contributing factors have actually caused more devastation than the virus would have otherwise. This point was reiterated by Oisin Brennan on the steps of the Four Courts in Dublin, where he proclaimed his 95 Theses, a list containing 95 reasons why the lockdown is ineffective. This is no doubt a nod to Martin Luther's famous 95 theses.

COVID-19[edit | edit source]

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, The Proud Boys maintained their stance that pubs should remain open. The Proud Boys actively advocate and attend anti-lockdown protests. Paul Brennan notably refused to wear a mask throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic, claiming he had picked up the virus two years ago in Chile and was now immune.

This branch includes several young members of the Carrigstown community including Ruth Brennan and Alex Petrosian.
