Bob Charles, born 14th May 1961, is married to Renee Phelan. He is best known locally for being the evil ringleader of Carrigstown's diversity efforts.
As a shrewd businessman and friend of elite politicians, Bob Charles spearheads most of what has come to be known as the Carrigstown Agenda.
Under the guise of a likeable love-sick puppy, Charles employs several tactics including propaganda, positive discrimination and scheming to shape the narrative of the local town and promote at every opportunity a belief system in-line with forward-thinking notions found in European cities such as Barcelona, Prague and London.
With a strong backing from committee members of the Carrigstown Agenda such as Pete Ferguson and Bela Doyle, Bob has manipulated his way into a very powerful position in Carrigstown. Due to Bob's powerful position there is little scandal around him although there is strong evidence that he is one of many local men to have sexually exploited illegal immigrant Ama Chisenga.
Bob is regarded by most in Carrigstown as completely untouchable. Christy Phelan famously quoted that he "took a shot at the king and missed" before his life fell apart. Legendary Gangster Billy Meehan once said "if you think I'm bad then wait until you see what's coming after me. It won't be ordinary decent criminals. It'll be fellas in suits pretending to be legitimate businessmen". To this day, conspiracy theorists argue that Billy was referring to Bob all along.
