Dillon Scale
Dillon Scale The Dillon Scale |
The Dillon Scale is a scale used to quantify the amount by which an individual is punching above or below their weight with respect to their sexual partner(s).
History[edit | edit source]
The scale was created by Leo Dowling and Tommy Dillon over a few pints in McCoy's pub in Christmas 2019. Tommy was said to have been rhyming off all the members of The Tommy Dillon Club, when Leo realized that in certain instances he had punched significantly over his weight. As such, they decided to create a metric to describe this phenomenon.
In 2021, Damien Halpin posted to his blog A Humble Ally stating that the Dillon Scale was "demeaning towards women and marginalized groups" after Oisin Brennan speculated in a Twitter post that Damien's short-lived relationship with vulnerable immigrant Ama Chisenga might "break the Dillon scale".
Scoring[edit | edit source]
Scores are recorded in standard deviations. This is the amount by which an individual is deviating from their mean pull.
Records[edit | edit source]
The highest reported score on the scale was 3.5 standard deviations, which was scored in 2004 by Leo Dowling when he started dating Russian prostitute and former supermodel Lana Borodin. Wayne Molloy has been lobbying to have this record invalidated, since it was scored before the scale came into creation and was backdated. According to Wayne, Lana is now a homeless crack whore in Moscow. Leo denies this and states that she is simply working on a cruise ship off the gold coast.
